Central Oregon consists of Bend, Redmond, Madras, Prineville, Sisters, Camp Sherman, La Pine and includes many destination resorts (Black Butte Ranch, Sunriver, Seventh Mountain, Eagle Crest, Crooked River Ranch, Pronghorn and more).

With 300 days of sunshine a year (as many as Arizona!) and many feet of fresh powder come winter, the high desert country of Central Oregon is an idyllic playground for sports lovers. Options include fabulous golf at more than 25 unique courses, coveted fly-fishing at over 150 rivers and lakes, hiking, rock climbing at Smith Rock and an abundance of snow sports atop Mount Bachelor. Top region attractions include the Old Mill District (Bend), Drake Park (Bend), Deschutes Historical and High Desert Museums (Bend), Headwaters of the Metolius (Camp Sherman) and the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. There are eleven area breweries including 10 Barrel Brewing, Bend Brewing, Cascade Lakes Brewing, Deschutes Brewery, McMenamins and more. Other must see include Historic Downtown Bend and the quant old west town of Sisters.
